Samuel Norberg | Architect

Samuel Norberg is an architect and lecturer at Chalmers University of Technology based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Samuel is working at the intersection between design computation, and making meet. He has taught across more than twenty courses, helping students move from concept to build, including public pavilions for the Gothenburg Botanical Garden and the city’s 400-year Jubilee. His teaching focuses on computational workflows, digital and robotic fabrication including the KUKA KR120, clear detailing, and site-safe execution.

Alongside academia, Samuel runs Mimwell AB, a small practice exploring modular, health-oriented, and collective living. His work includes design for disassembly, adaptable components, and practical reuse. Earlier experience spans Solar Decathlon Europe C-Hive, the development of Rhino and Grasshopper plug-ins for analysis and detailing checks, and a period at Liljewall’s digital unit creating daylight and solar tools and early massing methods.
