Franco Giordano | Architect

Franco, a graduate of the Facoltà di Architettura of Reggio Calabria, Italy in 1995, has an extensive and diverse professional background. He has held managerial roles within the Public Administration, where his responsibilities included serving as a single procedure manager for public works and municipal urban planning instruments. Franco has also been a key member of the Municipal Building Commission and Culture Commission, showcasing his multifaceted involvement in urban development and cultural initiatives.

His expertise extends to positions as an expert in Public Administration, qualified under Legislative Decree 81/2008 and ss.mm.ii., and BIM Management. Franco has been a registered member of the Association of the Architects of Messina since 1996. In the same year, he co-founded the Urban Future Organization studio in Messina with Claudio Lucchesi and Jonas Lundberg, marking the beginning of a significant architectural collaboration.

Franco’s contributions to the UFO office have been marked by numerous successes in international design competitions. Notable projects include the MAAC Museum of Art and Architecture in Castelmola, the Etna’s Ski Centre, the waterfront and polycentre of Messina, the Super City of Shenzhen, and the visitor centre of the archaeological park of Tindari. Currently, Franco remains actively engaged in developing the office’s portfolio in Italy, emphasizing his commitment to advancing architectural initiatives.
