Villa Annika is a villa extension and renovation in Stensjö, Sweden, overlooking the Kattegatt Sea. The project transforms an existing house through a series of additions, new exterior spaces and a complete architectural upgrading of the building envelope.
The proposal adds a living room extension with panoramic sea views, a new pool deck and a guest house. On the garden side, a new guest room extension provides two bedrooms, a study and a small kitchen. The existing building is renovated with new windows, timber cladding and new terrace areas, creating a stronger relationship between the house, garden and coastal landscape.
