The Paper Mill Visiting Centre & Hostel inserts visitor and accommodation programme into a historic paper mill, combining adaptive reuse with hospitality. UFO Architecture preserves the industrial heritage while introducing accommodation, interpretation and public access. The project is located inValle dei Mulini near Amalfi, Italy. The project was an integral part of a larger project for the whole valley that was awarded the European HOLCIM Gold Medal and the Global HOLCIM Silver Medal.
