Daebudo Golf Resort Fields is a landscape and prototype design study for the external environment of a new residential development connected to a golf resort on Daebudo Island, Korea.
The project is developed in two related parts. The first focuses on the landscape strategy around the residential development, working with topography, water features, surface patterns, soft landscaping and hard landscaping to create a coherent ground condition. The second part develops a series of architectural and landscape prototypes, including water features, shading structures, entrance porticos and other site-specific elements.
UFO Architecture’s proposal explores the integration of landform, water, circulation, planting and constructed surfaces. Rather than treating landscape as a background condition, the project develops it as an active spatial and atmospheric framework for the residential environment.
