The project is an 30sqm outdoor extension to a second level apartment which proposed to spill out over onto the street via the existing garage volume. the outdoor space was primarily for entertaining, so the client wanted to maximise the view to the harbour and had also required a design for sunshading during the day. The screening from above the property and to the lower apartment was achieved through low maintenance set planting and additional privacy from the street could be set by lightweight planted pots.
